St. Victoria’s youth have journeyed several times to mission communities to reach out as the face and hands of Jesus in service. In the summer of 2013, they spent a week in South Dakota at the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. While there they grew closer to God and the people served by cleaning their school, painting, landscaping and running the local “Kids Club”. They met great people, listened to inspiring speakers and took in some of the beautiful sights of the area. In the summer of 2017, they traveled to the Crow Reservation in south central Montana. This amazing experience enriched the lives of our youth and the lives of tribal members. While there they lead Bible lessons, games, crafts, reading and sports programs for the children along with community service projects such as painting, cleaning, and yard work. July of 2018 saw them in Taylorsville, North Carolina, sharing faith and serving the people who call the Blue Ridge Mountains home.
