A Garden For All

A place to walk in and a prayer for reflection:
What could be better than flowers at your feet with the heavens rising above?

St. Victoria Parish Family invites you to be a part of its new Prayer & Reflection Garden. The garden will be filled with hundreds of flowers, along with your inspired intentions of celebration, hope and remembrance.

At the south end of our property, a prayer path will weave through perennials and evergreens with colorful reminders of the blessings that God provides. Along the path, there will also be eight stones etched with the Beatitudes. This is a place for prayer and meditation.

The Brick Program

For $100 each, you may customize a brick to celebrate a milestone moment in your family (special birthday or anniversary). Or, you may wish to offer an inspiring quote or choose to remember a loved one whose memory will be a part of the garden’s enduring appeal. The bricks will be placed along the border of the prayer path.

St. Victoria Parish Family will net $81 for each brick we sell. Those monies will be used to excavate the land, remove the briars and buckthorn, create the path and prepare the land for the planting of over 600 flowers and plants.

Granite Benches

Eventually, there will also be five granite benches along the Prayer Path: a place to sit and reflect on the natural beauty surrounding you.

The benches will be offered for sale as memorials. A memorial plaque will be placed on the bench at $6,000 for one plaque per bench. Or a bench can be shared with up to three plaques per bench at a split cost of $2,000 or $3,000 per plaque.

All net proceeds from the benches will go toward the development of the garden. To order a granite bench, please contact John Abel in the parish office at 952-443-2661 ext. 204.

We believe this garden will provide countless hours of enjoyment for the people of our parish and the community.
We hope it inspires its visitors to connect with God in a meaningful way and be assured of His presence through the beauty of the earth.

Thank you for your support!

Our goal is to have the garden ready in Spring 2023

On September 21, 2022, the landscaping crew began excavation on the site of the new Prayer & Reflection Garden! They removed small trees, brush and grass to begin preparations for planting later this Fall.
