Simpson Housing

November 11, Sunday

Simpson Housing in Minneapolis offers support and advocacy for people experiencing homelessness.  Join a group of St. Victoria volunteers who will prepare and serve a meal for guests (men who are homeless and seeking overnight shelter) at Simpson Housing.  Volunteers cook and serve the meal and/or contribute desserts.

Donated items are collected for the men, including disposable razors, deodorant, combs, towels, and underwear and t-shirts of all adult sizes (only t-shirts without offensive or controversial logos).  T-shirts and towels can be new or gently used.

For more information or to volunteer, contact St. Victoria parishioner Kerry Stukenborg at 763-360-8031 or Email Kerry

In the Twin Cities alone, roughly 1,000 people sleep outside each night.  For over 20 years, Simpson Housing services has provided shelter and affordable housing to those who are homeless.  St. Victoria has been bringing meals since 2004.  Simpson House provides 46 men with a bed each evening and typically serves dinner to 46-90 people.  Visit the Simpson Housing Website for more information.
