Luke’s Gospel describes a world turned upside down. Sinners are saved while religious leaders are exposed as frauds. Luke writes to assure that Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s saving purposes. Luke presents Christ’s death as a transfiguration into Glory. Furthermore, by virtue of that death the same transformative glory is offered to humanity. Prepare to be transformed!
